Causha Spellman-Timmons (They/Them) is a Black, Queer, Non-binary visionary, SOULcial worker, educator, and creative disruptor whose life’s work is grounded in over two decades of radical service, community-rooted leadership, and healing-centered justice. With lived experience as their compass and professional expertise as their toolkit, Causha shows up as a coach, consultant, public speaker, facilitator, and officiant. They are fiercely committed to the truth that health and well-being are not luxuries, but human rights.

Causha is the Founder and Principal of CAST Associ8tes, LLC, a SOULcial Justice coaching and consulting firm dedicated to reimagining life and work through a lens of equity, transformation, and care. CAST offers business and life strategy, organizational development, cooperative development, public speaking, and creative accountability—all rooted in liberation, sustainability, and the power of possibility. CAST doesn’t just support growth; it supports grounded growth.

Their journey includes co-founding and co-developing vital spaces like Willow Permanent Real Estate Cooperative, where they served as Director of Admin & People and board secretary, weaving together systems, operations, and grassroots community care. Causha also brings leadership experience from roles such as Cooperative Research Fellow with the Philadelphia Area Cooperative Alliance, Lecturer at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, Youth Partner Supervisor at EPIC ʻOhana, Inc., and Co-founder of Ceeds of Peace – Youth Talk Back. Their early advocacy as a Teen Advocate at the Domestic Violence Action Center helped shape their enduring commitment to youth, equity, and trauma-informed approaches.


My approach to building a professional community is characterized by inclusivity and collaboration. I prioritize creating a supportive environment where folks feel valued and empowered to collaborate using their expertise and ideas. Through fostering meaningful connections and encouraging active participation, I aim to cultivate a network that facilitates mutual growth and success among its members. My strategy involves leveraging diverse perspectives and experiences to drive innovation and achieve common goals within the community.

Causha holds an MSW from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, a BA in Child and Adolescent Development from San Francisco State University, and is currently pursuing an MS in Innovation Management & Entrepreneurship at Temple University. They also carry the lived wisdom of being a PhD-retired scholar who chose rest and liberation over burnout and bureaucracy.

Having spent years navigating the nonprofit, academic, and cooperative sectors, Causha has recommitted to living a life that centers healing, creativity, and ease. Whether through their podcast, public workshops, or private sessions, they are creating spaces where lived experience, identity, and community care are honored, and where folks can show up fully and be met with real support.
